SLPSB student, Josi Lemelle, was honored with the privilege of introducing Vice President Kamala Harris as the VP visited Sunset, LA to address the need for accessible internet in rural areas. Josi is a 10th grade student at Eunice High and was proud to represent the students of St. Landry Parish.

A MESSAGE FROM SLPSB: At the St. Landry Parish School Board Meeting last night, the Board voted to make mask wearing optional at schools, district facilities, and on the school bus. This Board action is effective immediately.
MACA will continue to accept applications into March. Students entering 7th-12th grade in the 2022-2023 school year and interested in creative writing, theatre, dance, band, chorus, or art are eligible to apply. TALENT EDUCATION
If you suspect your child of having Talented characteristics in MUSIC, THEATRE AND/OR VISUAL ART contact your child’s school for a referral to the School Building Level Committee. Talented referrals and evaluations are only conducted once a year in the Spring.
