Don't Forget-A Christmas Story At Creswell Middle School Holiday Pictures will be taken onTuesday, November 18, 2025. Students will be able to dress in their nice winter attire and take holiday pictures with the background in the flyer. Only students who Pre-Pay will be allowed to take a picture. The 4th Annual Holiday Food Drive sponsored by the Creswell Middle School 4-H Club is happening from:
Tuesday, November 11th through Friday, December 5th. Students are asked to bring in non-perishable items to help a family in need within our school community. After making baskets for our families, we will be delivering all other items to the St. Landry-Evangeline United Way food drive at Super 1 Foods in Opelousas. This will be our third year participating in the Annual Food for Families Food Drive happening on 12/9.

There will be no 21st CCLC or Learning Beyond the Bell after school tomorrow, Wednesday, November 12th due to early dismissal. We will resume on Thursday, November 13th.

Creswell Middle School Parents and Guardians: If you are not aware by now, the weather conditions will be changing to some colder temperatures in the next few days. This is a reminder that the district has a NO Hoodie Policy". A "Hoodie" is a sweatshirt with a hood that is sewed to it. It is already attached to the sweatshirt. These items are NOT Allowed. Technically, ALL outerwear should NOT have hood attached to it. However, in these economic times, we understand that some of you have only been able to find uniform jackets in the appropriate colors (navy, black, gray or maroon) with hoods. We WiLL NOT harass your child if they are out of dress code just for that reason. However, if their outerwear is not the right color as mentioned or it is a stand alone "Hoodie" or they choose to not remove the hood in or out of the classroom/school building when addressed, you will be notified. We understand, and have empathy ,but WE HAVE Expectations at CMS!

Creswell Middle School Color Run is scheduled for Friday, November 21, 2025. We are excited that our students are filling up their sheets to participate. The shoe sheet cost $22. If you need a sheet for your child, please have them come by our school’s office. The deadline to turn in all forms for the Color Run is Friday, November 14, 2025. 🏃🏿‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏽‍♀️🐅🤩🎉
