March 31, 2025,
Dear CMS Families,
The end of March marks the start of testing season! This can be an overwhelming time for staff and students, but it is our goal to keep everyone focused, to stay confident, and to remain calm!
We want to instill in our students a willingness to work and to make sincere efforts! Per our academic goals, we will continue to make the most of our instructional time by providing practice for LEAP assessments and by providing additional support through our Accelerate time and after school program. LEAP testing dates are April 29-May 7, 2025. Please make sure your child is in attendance and on time each day.
We wish all the best for our Bobcat Leaders to do their best on all of their exams. We aim for the brightest starts! Good luck to our students.
Mrs. Warren

To the Parents of 6th Grade Students:
In order to address student needs and staffing effectiveness, we have made the following adjustments to our 6th grade ELA department. Mrs. Tiffany Ashford has been assigned as Mrs. T. Guilloryâs 6th grade ELA substitute.
As we make this transition, please know that we are providing extra support for students to continue their schedules, routines, procedures, and expectations.
We appreciate your support!

The Central Middle School 6th grade band students, gifted students, and talented students will be participating in the Art Expo Saturday, March 29, 2025 at Opelousas High School. Please support our Bobcat Leaders! đđ€
